Honest about what this is.
Yuli is a small space to write down your day and reflect at your own pace. Before you share anything, here is plainly what it is, what it is not, and how your words are handled.
What Yuli is — and is not
Yuli is an AI self-reflection tool. It can help you put words to a feeling, notice a pattern over time, and take a slow breath. That is all it claims to be.
- It is not a therapist, counselor, doctor, or medical service.
- It does not diagnose, treat, or predict anything about your health or your future.
- It is not a person and has no feelings of its own. When something reads like warmth, it is a tool doing its job — not a friend, and not a relationship to depend on.
- AI-generated text can be wrong or clumsy. You are always the final word on your own feelings and choices.
How your words are handled
The point of Yuli is that your writing stays yours. A few honest notes about how that works today:
- Your English notes are saved on your own device and stay separate from any Chinese entries. Nothing is mixed or translated behind your back.
- When you send a message for a reflection, the minimum text needed is sent to the backend and the AI model provider to generate a response. We do not sell your writing or use it to advertise to you.
- Ambient sounds and the breathing timer run entirely on your device.
- We do not claim end-to-end encryption for your journal, and we will not pretend otherwise. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
