Your writing should come with clear choices.

1. Who operates Yuli

The English Yuli experience at getyuli.com is operated by Yuli (getyuli.com), referred to here as “Yuli,” “we,” or “us.” Privacy questions and requests can be sent to getyuli@163.com.

2. What we process

• Local notes. English journal entries, mood scores, and local preferences are stored in your browser. They are kept separate from the Chinese experience and are not placed in Yuli cloud sync.
• Optional AI content. Only when you actively choose AI reflection, the message or weekly notes shown in the confirmation flow are sent to Yuli's backend and a third-party AI model provider, currently Zhipu GLM, to generate a response.
• Limited usage data. We may process page views, feature clicks, time spent, referrer hostname, controlled campaign tags, device/session identifiers, error categories, and the length—not the content—of text composed. We do not request browser GPS. Coarse country or city information may be derived by infrastructure providers from a request.
• Technical request data. Hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser information, timestamps, and request logs as needed to deliver and protect the service.

3. Why we use it

We process information to provide local journaling, create AI replies you request, keep the service secure, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and understand whether product features work. AI content is processed because you explicitly choose that feature. You can continue using local-only writing without it.

4. Who receives information

We do not sell your journal content or use it for behavioral advertising. Information may be processed by vendors that provide hosting, security, analytics infrastructure, and AI model generation. They receive only what is reasonably needed for that service. Data may be processed outside your country, depending on where those providers operate.

5. Retention and model-provider limits

• Local English notes remain in your browser until you delete them, clear browser storage, or remove that browser profile.
• Yuli's product analytics are designed not to contain note text. Operational and security logs are kept only as reasonably needed to operate and protect the service.
• AI content is processed to return the response. A model provider may retain request data under its own service and security terms. We do not promise zero provider retention or end-to-end encryption; avoid sending information you are not comfortable sharing.

6. Your choices

• Use local-only writing without enabling AI.
• Export English notes as Markdown or JSON.
• Delete all English notes and the saved AI preference from the current device.
• Clear site data in your browser to remove other local identifiers.
• Email getyuli@163.com with a privacy question or legally available request. We may need enough information to verify and respond to it.

7. Security, age, and sensitive information

We use HTTPS and reasonable technical controls, but no service can promise perfect security. The English Beta is for adults aged 18 or older. Yuli is not designed for children's data. Please do not use Yuli for emergencies, medical records, passwords, government identifiers, financial account details, or information you are not comfortable sending to an AI provider.
